Hunched , crude shoulders with pinching sub hexagonal bezel setting with small ovoid intaglio with male (genius?) holding patera, dark brown-black colour, treated with unknown chemical. Poss wrong size intaglio for ring. V pronounced wear bottom hoop-thinning.

Stepped boss, central flower design with protruding central knob and outer ring of enamel arcade design, colours from central boss outwards, clockwise blue,yellow,blue,yellow surrounded by red in interspaces, unemalled circular reces. Outer ring Y B B Y B Y B B Y B B with red in interspaces. 6 peripheral lugs around face. Sub rectangukar suspensions loop proximal. Decorative lrg, circular lug at distil point (opp chain loop) with central circular recess. Hinged pin (bent). Poss MPO distil reverse? Catchplate intact.

A copper alloy strap fitting of uncertain date, probably Roman, but possibly Early Medieval (AD 43 - 1100). The front is shaped like three connected lozenges arranged next to each other. There is a pronounced central ridge in high relief running across the centre of all three lozenges. This flat plate with the central ridge has a loop projecting from the back. The loop has one surviving and one missing dividing strut to form a triple loop on the reverse.
