A copper alloy symmetrical double looped buckle with a an additional side loop. A sword belt hanger. The frame is broken at one corner. The trapeziodal frame has a D-shaped cross section. It has two main loops separated by a thick centre bar with a D-shaped cross section. At one long side of the frame is a small rectangular loop with an angular cross section. Date: Medieval - c. 1350 - 1500 Dimensions: 32.94 mm x 28.84 mm x 3.86 mm Weight: 6.26 g Whitehead (2003;76) illustrates a similar, rectangular examples (No. 470 & 471) which he dates to c. 1305 - 1500

An incomplete probable early medieval gold strip brooch. The object comprises an elongated sub-rectangular piece of gold sheet that tapers gently towards each end, forming a point from which extends a short, hooked projection (probably the remains of a pin mechanism, the pin itself now missing). At one end is a circular perforation, punched from one side. Both sides of the object are plain. It is slightly crumped with some damage and folding to the edges.

A fragment of gilded silver finger ring of composite construction. This is the incomplete bezel of a finger ring. All that remains is an incomplete lozenge-shaped bezel with a scalloped outer edge. There are three small raised knops applied the front of the plate, one in each remaining corner.The surface is decorated with four groups of incised radiating lines emanating from a scar in the centre where a missing element was soldered to the front. An incomplete silver thimble. The crown is missing and the side has split along the original soldered join. The thimble was probably originally circular in cross-section, tapering towards the top though has now been compressed into an ovate section. There is a wide double banded circumferential border around the base of the thimble. Above this is decorated with small, regular square pits in concentric rings to the edge of the missing crown which are set around two oval stamped panels and a stamped bust. In some areas the core is slightly oxidised to a buff-grey colour. A broad flint blade. A flake of dark grey flint with white mottles and a low gloss patina. At the proximal end is a wide striking platform and there is a shallow bulb of percussion on the ventral face. There are marked waves of percussion along the whole of the ventral face. On the dorsal face there are several elongated flaking scars. The profile of the flake expands from triangular at the proximal end to trapezoidal at the distal.
