A nearly illegible silver washed or silver plated copper-alloy contemporary copy of a third century Roman radiate, probably of Postumus, dating from AD 260-269 (Reece period 14). Reverse type llegible depicting a galley ship with rowers traveling left. Mint uncertain.

A heavily clipped Medieval silver halfgroat probably of Edward IV (second reign), dating from AD 1471-1483. Initial mark: probably rose. Mint of Canterbury. The obverse bust bears a 'C' at its base and there is a 'C' or a rose in the centre of the cross on its reverse. Cf. North 1991 Vol II, p. 93, no. 1638/1639
