Silver coin, an Icenian early Face horse type (Gregory EFH A, Talbot Large flan A). Some wear, irregular outline. The findspot conforms to a general Waveney Valley distribution bias for the non-hoard finds (John Talbot 2006, BARInt 1532). Dies are as Talbot D and 8 (Talbot 2006 Fig 20)and he notes the reverse die 8 is only the second example recorded.

Iron Age silver large flan deeply-dished unit, of John Talbot LFC groups (Groups 1/2?). Early face-horse type, uninscribed East Anglian. Worn. John Talbot comments: I have re-looked at this coin and have now worked out that the obverse die is C - therefore it is a well known die link C 2 within the LFC group. You need to revolve the obverse image by about 210 degrees clockwise to make sense of it.

Silver unit, an early Face-Horse Icenian type, Hobbs 3550-3551, Gregory EFH type C. Recent work (Talbot 2006, in BAR Int Ser 1532, Celtic Coinage: New discoveries, new discussion, ed P de Jersey) separates three groups in the large flan C type, this eg seems to fall within his group 3, particularly reverse die 15. The type is mainly found in west Norfolk and NW Suffolk. Worn, with some damage to obverse.
