An incomplete medieval (perhaps 1250-1400) copper alloy 'animalier' candleholder, consisting of the head, body and incomplete foreleg, hind leg and tail of the animal. The metal is heavily pitted in places and all breaks are very worn and old.
The animal is in the form of a dog, with foreshortened conical snout and a prominent ridge at 90 degrees to the top of the head, presumably for now-lost ears. A late medieval (15th century) copper alloy iconographic finger-ring of probable 'decade' or 'rosary' type. The finger-ring comprises a slightly-squashed band of eleven conjoined solid hemispheres, flat to the inside surface, with a flat oval bezel. The bezel has a raised rim within which is a raised design depicting a seated, crowned figure facing left but head to front, draped and wearing a sash across the chest, and holding a possible sword vertically downwards in the left hand. An incomplete (probably later) Bronze Age (c.1150-800 BC) copper alloy awl, broken across a squarish cross-section measuring 4.5x3.8mm (recentish break). This expands over c.11mm to 5.7x5.1mm, with the two opposing wider sides being completely flat while one of the other two sides haa a shallow longitudinal indentation and the other a slightly raised area (perhaps a worn casting flash). Just beyond the awl becomes circular in cross-section, measuring 5.9mm in diameter. This end of the awl then narrows over c.26mm to a rounded tip, 1.5mm in diameter.

An openwork copper-alloy rectangular mount of perhaps early-medieval or medieval date (AD 410-1500), depicting two beasts with limbs extending to grip a central triangle and open jaws a squarish head with two punched circular eyes and a grooved line mouth. The back leg of each is thicker with a pronounced curve and joining at the centre, create the outside edge of the object; it is moulded along this edge. The opposite edge shows the upper head of each beast, with two punched circular eyes.

A Roman (AD 100-200) copper-alloy and enamel plate brooch in the form of a bird with folded wings, perhaps a peacock or similar. The bird has a small lozenge-shaped head with ring-and-dot eye, elongated beak with longitudinal central groove and triangular crest with three parallel V-sectioned grooves along its external edge. The body is crescentic in form, divided longitudinally by ribs in two. A post-medieval silver gilt finger-ring ('posy' ring) of small size, with probable enamel decoration to the outside surface, now missing, and dating to the 16th-17th century. The inside of the hoop bears traces of gilding and is inscribed:
I AM YOVRS
The hoop is D-shaped in cross-section (being flat to the inside surface) and the outer surface is decorated with a raised waffle-pattern of square cells four-wide across the band, stacked on top of each other. Some of these retain traces of a black substance, also apparent on the raised lines between the squares.

A possible lid-part (consisting of the thumb-rest) from the two-part handle of a small post-medieval drinking vessel/ tankard, dating to the 16th-18th century. This object would have attached to a bar at the top of the main body of the handle by its worn-through loop, and would have attached to a separate (possibly wood or leather) lid with its in situ rivet.
