An incomplete possible stud of uncertain but perhaps Roman date, gilded silver (probably - or perhaps or copper alloy) and an incomplete fixing/ shank to the reverse. The object takes the form of a disc with a central domed boss, the flat rim having moulded decoration in the form of eight equidistant transverse ribs. The rim is split along one of these. To the reverse gilding is apparent around the edges and the negative of the ribs is apparent. The interior of the dome is filled with a grey-coloured substance (probably lead alloy) and a patch of green at the very centre, perhaps …

A fragment of gold unidentified object of uncertain date. The object is U-shaped in form with a jagged break across the horizontal edge. The two adjoining sides are slightly rounded while the edge opposite to the break is flattened, as are both faces. The rounded edges both show signs of stress/ cracking. The object is similar in form and shape to HAMP-074BBA / 2019 T404, also of uncertain date and function but thought to possibly be an early-medieval coin blank due to notches ('test marks') on the edge. There are no obvious notches on this pieces, except for the stress marks on the r…
