Plain trumpet brooch, perforated lug behind the head holds bronze spring of six turns, the pin is broken near the spring. Sub-oval head with small projection on the top. Plain upper bow, round in section. Central moulding is decorated with lobes and is flanked by a groove and slight mouldings. The central moulding continues around the back of the bow but is flattened. Plain lower bow is hemi-spherical in section and terminates in a flat-based foot-knob.
