A lead alloy bifaced token with mainly indistinct curved and straight lines on each face. The flan has a small lip which is a more common occurrence on medieval tokens than post-medieval tokens. Also the quality of the moulding suggests an earlier date. Circa AD 1300-1500.

A worn and corroded Post Medieval copper alloy token. The legend or partial legend 'CITY OF NORWICH' can just be made out on the reverse. The size suggests the token is probaby a late 18th to early 19th century city token, along the lines of the Condor tokens of the period. Dimensions: diameter 28.62mm weight 9.9g

A Post Medieval lead alloy token. The upper surface is decorated with an eight petalled flower (Powell type 1). The reverse surface is possibly a moulded tree (Powell type 17), but unclear. Leaden tokens were used for a variety of purposes. These ranged from small change, to checks and tallies for services rendered such as hop picking. They were in use from the Medieval period into late Post-Medieval.
