A worn silver Roman denarius of Trajan (AD 98-117), probably dating to the period AD 103-111 (Reece period 5).
Obverse: [IMP] TRAIAN[O AVG] GER DAC [P M TR P], Laureate bust right, drapery on left shoulder.
Reverse: [COS V P P S P Q] R OPTIMO PR[INC], (PAX) (in exergue), Pax standing left with torch in right hand setting fire to a pile of arms, holding cornucopiae in left hand.
