Roman rim sherd; wheel thrown ceramic vessel, storage jar which has a flanged (everted) rim. The fabric is reduced Severn Valley ware / Grey ware. This type of pottery was produced throughout the Roman Period, in the Severn Valley area, and typically consisted of jars, jugs, flagons, bowls, storage jars and tankards. It weighs 10.0 grams. The diameter of the rim due to the size cannot be estimated, however it is likely to be greater than 22cm. The rim sherd has a length of 36.59mm, a thickness of 14.07mm and a height of 22.75mm

A large assemblage of cut lead sheet, smelted lead alloy droplets and fragments of metal working debris. As an assemblage this group is undatable having a variety of sizes, shapes and weight. It has been recovered from the plough-zone of the field and is therefore without secure context.
However, this assemblage was recovered through systematic metal detecting near to two Roman scheduled monuments and as such may represent primary evidence of lead alloy working on the site. An incomplete cast copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative Polden Hill type of Roman date (80-120 AD). The wings are incomplete having lost their pierced end caps. The axis bar and spring and pin are also lost present. The spring would have been held in place by an external cord which is fixed to a rearward facing hook positioned at the midpoint on the upper edge of the reverse. The artefact has unclear obverse and reverse faces and is incredibly abraded to the point the coin has lost it's round shape. The type of coin is likely to be a radiate or nummi as these are the most common find on Roman sites and because this correlates to the great deal of As's being found in the local vicinity. Due to soil conditions the coin has been abraded and now has a rust red coloured surface.

A hinged shield shaped 9 carat gold Art Nouveau style locket decorated with machine incised flowers around a central heart inscribed with this initials SCH - in interlaced copperplate script. The reverse is struck with a Birmingham assay mark (anchor) a stamp bearing the gold value .325 and the makers mark AEJ within a rectangular cartouche.
The locket measures:
1 has length of 22.08mm, a width of 16.43mm and a thickness of 2.75mm; it weighs 1.1 grams.
2. has length of 22.34mm, a width of 16.66mm and a thickness of 2.28mm; it weighs 0.9 grams.
