Probably COS III, S C reverse type depicting Salus, draped, standing right, feeding out of patera in left hand snake held in right hand. Mint of Rome. This is a probably coin of British Association similar to examples published from the Sacred Springs at Bath, cf. BMC 1380; RIC II, p. 469, no. 975b; Walker, p. 293, nos. 1-52, pl. XXXIII.
The coin is 26.4mm in diameter and 2.4mm thick. It weighs 8.68g.

A plated silver Roman denarius of Hadrian (AD 117-138), probably dating to the period c.AD 134-138 (Reece period 6). Obverse: HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, Bare head right. Reverse: CONCORDIA AVG, Concordia standing left, holding patera and cornucopia. The coin is abraded and the copper-alloy core is visible beneath the plated surfaces; CONCORDIA seems to have been misspelled CONCOODIA though this may just be a poorly struck R. It has a diameter of 17.5mm, a thickness of 2.5mm, and weighs 2.46g.
