A heavily corroded copper-alloy object, possibly a coin of later Iron Age or Roman date, c.100 BC - AD 410. Both faces are extremely corroded with evidence of active copper-alloy corrosion products, one face having a slight ridge that may be the result of damage or manufacture. Not obvious types are visible on either face and it is impossible to offer a precise dating for the object. If it is indeed a coin then it is most plausibly of late Iron Age or Roman date.
