A copper-alloy Roman contemporary copy of a dupondius of Antoninus Pius (AD 138-161), dating to the period c.AD 138-161 (Reece Period 7). (A)TII(V?)[...]T[V...], S C reverse type depicting unclear standing female figure left, possibly Aequitas or Moneta holding scales and cornucopiae. Prototype of the mint of Rome. cf. Walker, 1988: pls. XL-XLI nos. 23, 30 for copies of Antonine dupondii with similar reverse types. A coin with apparently the same reverse die was recorded through the PAS (KENT-70B9A7) and is now in the British Museum collection (BM 2014.4109.1).
