A medieval silver double patard of Charles the Bold, Duke of Burgundy and Count of Flanders (1467-77), struck in the province of 'Brabant and Limburg' (van Gelder and Hoc 23-1), dating to the period 1468-1474. Ref: Van Gelder and Hoc 1960: 20. In 1469 a monetary convention between Duke Charles and King Edward IV made the former's coinage in the Low Countries legal tender in England. In practice, only the double patard established itself in currency, with a formal valuation equal to the silver groat, i.e. fourpence.

A complete cast copper-alloy strap loop/slide dating to the Roman period (c. AD 43-300). The strap slide is flat and trifoliate in shape. The outer projections have rounded terminals while the terminal of the central projection is flat. On the reverse, a rectangular shaped and sectioned attachment loop extends from the tip of the central projection to the base. The underside of the main plate is undecorated. An incomplete but worn, lead pointed-oval personal seal matrix of Medieval date c.AD 1200-1400. The seal matrix is missing a fragment from one edge and is cracked across most of its width. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Colchester 'one-piece' brooch of late Iron Age or early Roman date, likely c.15 BC - AD63. Most of the spring and catchplate are missing along with the pin. The brooch is cast in one piece including the spring hook and the spring. There are wings (11.1 mm) on either side of the brooch head that are rectangular and flat. The bow (72.5 mm) that is semi-circular in cross section tapers towards the foot that holds the remains of the catchplate.

An Early Medieval copper-alloy buckle. The frame forms a wide oval and the pin has a drooping tip. The rectangular plate, which measures 12.20mm in width, is decorated with eight small punched rings and dots. The plate has a series of nicks along its rear edge.
