Description: The pendant is rectangular or slightly trapezoidal shaped and contains asymmetric openwork which could have represented zoomorphic decoration. A Medieval lead seal matrix. The matrix is circular with a diameter of 28.9mm. Originally slightly flatter than it is now, the design and legend of the face is formed in the negative so that any impression formed with the matrix would appear in relief.
