A heavily worn and clipped silver halfcrown of Charles I (1625-1649). Equestrian portrait group III later horseman. Coin is heavily worn and clipped with substantial verdi gris obscuring inscription and design possibly indicating a contemporary copy. Probably North 1994 vol. 2 p. 159 no. 2211.
