A rare, slightly worn copper alloy Roman sestertius of Trajan (AD 98-117), dating to AD 112-114 (Reece Period 5), mint of Rome. The reverse depicts the entrance to the Basilica Ulpia in Rome, adorned with statues above the colonnade. The legend around the outer edge of the reverse is worn but otherwise the coin is in very good condition.
