The coin is preserved in fairly good condition, although some of the obverse and reverse legends are off-flan due to irregular striking.

Copper alloy, Roman, incomplete, radiate of Uncertain Emperor, but possibly Victorinus (AD 269 - AD 271), reverse type unclear but possibly Sol running left, raising right hand and holding whip in left. Obverse depicts radiate crowned bearded bust right. Probably dating to the period AD 269 - AD 271 (Reece Period: 13). Probably Gallic mint. Diameter: 19.0 mm Thickness: 1.9 mm Weight: 2.4 g Coin is heavily work and much of the patina is missing from the reverse, due to corrosion. As a result detail is difficult to see.
