A late Bronze Age cast copper alloy awl dating from 1000BC to 800BC. The awl has a thickened centre and tapers to a point at each end. It has a circular cross section and the tip at one end has been slightly bent over. It measures 56mm in length. For a similar example on the PAS database see BH-D64995.
