Description: Canterbury mint, moneyer TOMAS, class 7b3. AD 1232-1234. The bust is crudely portrayed with a broken punch used for the eyes. The letter A is square-topped. North (1994) no. 979.

Obverse: Crowned bust facing forwards, unidentifiable objects by neck
Reverse: Long cross with quatrefoil in the centre and three pellets in each angle
The coin has a diameter of 13.04mm, is 0.52mm thick and weighs 0.5g.
Note: this coin is heavily clipped and worn resulting in the loss of most of the legend from both the obverse and reverse.
