An incomplete and unusual copper-alloy finger ring, probably of Roman date and Romano-British attribution, c. 2nd-3rd century AD. The remains of the finger ring consist of the oval recessed bezel, with connected shoulders; the rest of the ring band is missing. The profile of the ring is circular with gently sloping shoulders. The bezel has been decorated with a raised circular design consisting of copper-alloy segments of various shapes, all radiating out from an open centre; one bar is missing which would complete the circle.
