An incomplete worn and damaged silver Post Medieval groat of Henry VIII (AD 1509-1547). Both sides are badly worn. The obverse has crown bust right, the only inscription remaining on reads [DI]. The reverse has royal shield over long cross fourchee with remaining inscription of [OSVI DEUM]. Due to the fragmented and severely worn nature of the coin, a full identification is difficult. It measures 24mm in length, 15.3mm wide, 0.9mm thick and weighs 1.04 grams..

A complete copper-alloy square coin weight for the Hungarian dukat dating from the 16th or 17th century. The face depicts a king standing, holding a spear in his right hand and an orb in his right contained by a line of pellets in a circle. There is an H and D either side of the figure The reverse is plain. The weight measures 14.2mm by 13.5mm, and is 4.8mm thick. It weighs 6.44mm. C.f. Withers 1995, p 23.

A possible copper alloy lid from a vessel. The lid is a thin sheet of copper alloy, shaped into a sun burst design. There are 16 sub-triangular spokes around the edge. In the centre is a rectangular rivet measuring 5.5mm in length, 4.4mm in width, and is 2.2mm high. On the front there is a line running along the edge of the lid, at the bottom of each spoke. A complete late Medieval to early Post Medieval cast copper alloy thimble, probably dating from the 15th-16th centuries AD. This is a closed thimble with tapered sides, and a domed top, with no tonsure.. The thimble is decorated with a spiral of indentations which are large and deep. There is a plain band round the base. The thimble measures 21.4 mm high, 19.84 mm base diameter and weighs 8.33 grams.

A Post Medieval cast lead alloy uniface token dating from c. AD 1550-1800. Powell Type 2. One face is decorated with the initial 'H' with a central pellet; the other face is undecorated. Lead tokens were easy to manufacture and widely circulated over a long period of time; they are therefore difficult to date precisely, but those with initials or numbers are thought to date to the Post Medieval period.

An incomplete cast copper alloy probably Post Medieval buckle, c. 1550-1650. The frame has a slightly thicker outer edge and incised decoration, missing its pin. Overall the buckle measures 34mm long, 28.21mm wide and 2.23mm thick. The internal measurement of a loop is 21.07mm long and 9.64mm wide. The frame is D shaped in cross section and has bevelled edges. On both loops the outer edges there are three traverse grooves where the pin would have sat. The buckle is similar in style and decoration to one illustrated in Whitehead 2001 (p. 54, no. 302).

A cast copper alloy Post Medieval symmetrical bar mount with integrally cast spikes, c. 17th century AD. The mount consists of a flat bar with expanded circular ends. It is plain with no visible decoration. There are two integrally-cast spikes for attachment at either end of the back of the bar; both are bent inwards towards the centre of the bar. A complete cast copper-alloy Medieval to early Post Medieval buckle, c. AD 1450-1550. The buckle has a double loop annular frame with moulded floral decoration The frame is in the shape of a five petaled flower, each petal having been defined by multiple lateral incised lines along the outer edge. The reverse is plain.The simple copper-alloy wire pin is intact and the buckle has an overall pale green patina. Cf. Whitehead 2003, p 46, 272. The buckle is 26.67mm in circumference, 1.7mm thick and weighs 4.5 grams.

A copper alloy handle of a possible knife probably dating to the Post Medieval-Modern period, c. 18th-20th century AD. It has a sub oval stem which is broken at one end. The other end is graduated to a flat surface flaring out to a rounded end which has been broken on all edges. It measures 99.8mm long, 3.7mm diameter at the broken end.The tail end is 8.8mm wide and 0.7mm thick. It weighs 8.02 grams and has a reddish brown patina.

Approximately only 1/3rd of the coin remains due probably to plough damage. It has a diameter of 15.18mm, is 0.65mm thick and weighs 0.6gms.

The remains of the object consist of an oval plate bearing possible foliate and floriate design with a beaded border; rounded attachment-knops, the end one with a projecting rounded collar; a debased bifurcate ornamental knop either side; the blunt ended hook is broken off at its end. It measures 43.66mm long, 21.5mm wide, 1.85mm thick and weighs 6.4 grams. Cf. Read (2008) p 175, no. 663.
