A complete medieval copper alloy French jetton dating from AD 1385 - 1422. Crown type obverse depicting a crown with three annulets on the band with AVE MARIA GRACIA PL legend. Similar to Mitchiner number 477a but without obverse stops. Mint uncertain. Mitchiner (1988) page 181. Measurements; diameter 26.3 mm, thickness 0.8mm, weight 3.10g. The reverse shows a three-stranded straight cross fleuretty in a quatrefoil frame with the letters [-] A V E in the spandrels.

This may represent mill sails, and fits into Powell class 14. The upper surface has a central arris and the sloping sides are decorated with a series of ring and dot motifs stamped along the whole length of both sloping sides, seven on each. A sub-triangular lead and iron weight of probably Post Medieval date, AD 1500 - 1900. The object has linear cut marks on the upper surface, the reverser is flat, and the edges are rough and uneven. The short edge has two pointed iron protrusions which are probably the remains of a suspension loop. Iron is also visible in the centre of one face. Length 57.8mm, width 40.3mm, thickness 16.1, weight 227g. The mass suggests it is an 8oz or half pound weight, probably in the Mercantile system. See Egan (1998) page 302.

A flint barbed and tanged arrowhead dating from the late Neolithic to Middle Bronze Age, about 2400 BC - 500 BC. The implement is formed on a tertiary flake of mottled mid grey flint. It is broadly triangular with a narrow pointed projecting tang. The barbs are very slight, but they appear to be complete. The outer frame is chunky and there are the stubs of an integral central bar which is recessed and much thinner than the frame. There are traces of gilding on both faces of the frame. The pin is missing. Internal diameter 13.5mm.
