A lead seal dating from about AD 1889 - 1916 used to seal cargo shipped by the Christchurch Meat Company of New Zealand. A incomplete coppper alloy composite strap end with a forked spacer of Medieval date, about AD 1270 - 1450. It has athree dimensional acorn shaped knop with a collar, and an incomplete forked spacer. The plates are missing. Length 49.7mm; width 20.9mm; thickness 4.1mm and weight 4.67g. Compare number 672 on page 144 of Egan and Pritchard (1991). It and similar examples date from contexts of about AD 1270 - 1450.

A incomplete coppper alloy three part strap clasp of Medieval date, AD 1250 - 1450. It has a rectangular frame and a sheet rotating end which is incomplete. the pin and plate are missing. The frame is narrow, plain and has a recessed bar. The sheet rotating end is wrapped round the outer end of the frame but is broken, so the flat part does not survive. A copper alloy object, probably a fragment of a Roman brooch of uncertain type dating from AD 25 - 300. It is possibly part of a Hod Hill brooch. All that survives is a triple moulded collar across the base of a flat upper bow, and part of the lower bow which is triangular in cross-section with traces of the catchplate surviving. The brooch may be miscast, as there is a triple moulding on the reverse which does not line up with the one on the front. The breaks are very worn and patinated. Measurements are; length 23.1mm, width 5.8mm, thickness 5.6mm and weight 2.0g.

A cast copper-alloy annular ring of flattened hexagonal section, possibly a harness ring from the Medieval or Post medieval period, dating from about AD 1100 to 1800. There are the remains of a casting flange on the inner edge, and a distinct area of wear suggesting articulation in one area only, perhaps from suspension. Diameter 31.2mm (internal diameter 20.1mm) thickness 3.3mm, weight 7.7g. These are common detector finds, but their function and dating are not well understood (Geake, Finds Recording Guide, p. 54). A copper alloy Medieval rectangular buckle plate dating from AD 1250 - 1350. Both the upper and lower plates survive, however the end that would have attached to the frame is damaged and the frame and pin are missing. The upper plate is a rectangular sheet of copper alloy, with four rivet holes, one in each corner, and a hole for the missing pin. The brooch is decorated with a design of six retained-metal pellets in a field which likely once held enamel, around a central reserved metal boss. The reverse has a single lug for the missing spring and pin, and an incomplete catchplate. Measurements; Diameter 18.3mm, Thickness 5.3mm, Weight 2.61g.
