A gold posy ring dating from the 16th or 17th century. The hoop is formed of hands clasping a heart, flower designs, foliage and other decorative motifs. On parts of the exterior enamel has survived, the hands retain traces of white enamel with traces of red enamel on the heart. Colours that remain are blue, white and red, and more is decayed. Inside is it inscribed "My [heart motif] the centure love this circle is [heart motif on its side containing a C]". Traces of black enamel remain visible in the lettering which is lower case and italic but with a capital M at the beginning. The …

A lead alloy shield shaped trade weight dating from the Medieval period, about AD 1250 - 1700. The front has a raised centre, also shield shaped. The design in relief on the front is a crown above a rounded device, perhaps a rose. The letters "E S" are at the sides, and there are numerals below, perhaps "27" or "07". The reverse is plain. With a mass of 431g this was probably intended to be an 1 pound weight in the mercantile system with 15oz in the pound (with a "correct" mass of 437.4g). A copper alloy strap fitting of uncertain date, probably Roman, but possibly Early Medieval (AD 43 - 1100). The front is shaped like three connected lozenges arranged next to each other. There is a pronounced central ridge in high relief running across the centre of all three lozenges. This flat plate with the central ridge has a loop projecting from the back. A complete copper alloy Roman brooch, of Thealby Mine type dating from AD 100 - 200. The brooch has a wire head loop, crimped by a band at the base. The band is decorated with three ridges along its length, the middle one beaded. The band if folded round the loop, so the ends meet in the centre at the back. A lead spindle whorl of Medieval date, about AD 1100 - 1600. It fits into Walton Rogers Form C, being bi-conical or biconvex with a median band. Both faces of the whorl are decorated with integrally cast raised rounded blobs; two circumferential rows on each face, with sixteen blobs in each row. The central hole has a diameter of 11.6mm. The whorl has a smooth grey patina. It is 30mm diameter, 11.3mm thick and 42.2g.

A near complete Roman dragonesque brooch dating from AD 75 - 175. Only the pin is missing. Yellow and red enamel infill lozenges and triangles arranged in diagonal parallel lines fill the central body panel. Signoid (stylised, flourishing ends) panel at each side of central section. Interstices infilled with red enamel. The chin of one terminal is joined to the body. There is no enamelling on the terminal, just an open hole between the snout and ears. A Medieval copper alloy single looped buckle, probably dating from about AD 1350-1400, of Meols type C.The buckle has a rectangular frame with slightly convex sides and ridges in each corner, the sides being sub-rectangular in cross section. The bar is offset and narrowed, sub-rectangular in cross section, with a central band of wear where the pin (now missing) articulated.
