A wall sherd from a ceramic vessel of probable Medieval date. The fabric is fairly soft, irregular in texture and contains well sorted fine grit and quartz. It is light grey in colour with an orange core and there are traces of there once having been splashes of glaze on the outer surface.

Two wall sherds probably of Roman greyware ceramic vessels. The larger is 50mm long, 32.7mm wide and 7mm thick, 14.72g. The other is 28mm long, 25.1mm wide and 6.22mm thick. 5.45g. On both sherds, the inner face is pale grey and the outer face buff. The fabric is fine and hard with quartz inclusions.

A rim sherd from a Post Medieval ceramic vessel dating from the late 17th century probably. It had a rim diameter of about 11cm, and has a thin flared rim. A sherd of a Post Medieval ceramic vessel probably dating from 1550 - 1700 AD. It is a rim sherd with a rim diameter of about 13cm. The fabric is very hard and quite fine; creamy buff throughout but fading to tan on the outer face, and with few visible inclusions, just sparse tiny flecks of mica. It is glazed on the inside with a lustrous clear to yellow glaze. The rim is stepped to provide a seating for a lid. The fabric seems similar to Earlier Wrenthorpe Yellow Ware.

The fabric is very hard and fine with a grey core and inner face, fading to orange on the outer face. There are very sparse and fine mica inclusions, but no other inclusions are visible. The outer face is speckled with clear and purple splashes of glaze.
