A fragment of a copper alloy probably Harness Fitting of Post-Medieval to Modern date (AD 1550-1950). The object consists of a decoration knob with a long circular shaft extending from the centre of the reverse. The knob consists of an inner hemispherical section with an acorn-shaped knop extending from the centre of its outer face. Below the knop is circular expansion with an integral sub-rectangular spur. An incomplete copper alloy Roman plate brooch dating from c. mid 1st century AD to 2nd century AD. The surviving part of this brooch is circular in shape, however there is significant damage to most of the edge. The cross section has a trapezoidal shape to it with the remains of the back plate protruding slightly further from the edge. The upper surface of the brooch is the smaller diameter of the profile. Cast copper alloy chisel of possible Bronze Age date weighing 1.91g. It is 35.42mm in length with a square cross section at one end 3.49mm wide, flattening, and widening very slightly to a rectangular end from approx two-thirds the way along its length. It measures 3.44mm thick at the base end and thins to 1.22mm thick at the chisel tip. This small chisel could be of any date between the early Bronze Age to present day. An incomplete Post-Medieval cast copper alloy zoomorphic S-shaped belt clasp, circa AD 1600 - 1800. An animal head with rounded ears, a prominent forehead and snout. Its neck is arched and circular in cross-section (2.9mm diameter). The mouth is open showing an indistinct tongue or teeth on its right side. The object's surface has traces of silvering, and the openings of the nostrils are marked with micro-dots of a reflective red substance. The piece measures 17.7mm in length, the head has a thickness of 4.1mm, and it weighs 1.8g. See YORYM-7A0785 which references Egan (2005), p47, 172.

A cast copper alloy late Iron Age to early Roman strap fitting or slide. The strap fitting is incomplete with the attachment missing. The strap fitting is composed of 2 'eye' forms (characteristic of the Iron Age) which create a double-lozenge shape in plan view. The 'eyes' take the form of prominent domes within a sunken circular field. The diameter of each 'eye' is approximately 8.3mm. The outside edge of both 'eyes' tapers to a point. A cast copper alloy unidentified object. The date of the object is uncertain but it is probably Post-Medieval to Modern. The object is distorted and there is a break on one side but the damage is not new. Originally, the object would have been a flat frame creating a sub-rectangular aperture approximately 12mm x 60mm. Gold signet ring with octagonal bezel engraved with a lion rampant within a dotted border. The bezel oriented in the same direction as the loop, the back of the bezel with a maker's mark: the letter B (?) in a lozenge, this mark does not occur on any of the rings in the British Museum collections and we have not been able to identify it. A fragment consisting of the head of a copper-alloy Roman Trumpet brooch of 1st to 2nd century AD date. The head is oval in shape and measures 16.85mm wide by 10.75mm. At the upper edge is a tiny lip that extends outwards by 0.95mm. Beyond this is the remains of an extension of the brooch, 10.05mm wide by 3.2mm and 1.35mm thick, that probably was the start of a head loop. A lead-alloy pot mend, used to mend a broken vessel in order to lengthen the period of use after damage had occurred. The larger side of the circular mend has a diameter of 30.9mm. The lead pot mend is 11.09mm thick and the smaller of the two sides of the disc has a maximum diameter of 24.75mm. No vessel fabric has seemingly been retained within the central slot, and is wide date range is therefore offered.

A corroded and abraded cast lead Roman steelyard weight with a broken iron prong at one apex. The object is broadly biconical in shape, as typical Roman steelyard weights were (Geake 2001, 67). The object is 33.3mm in diameter and 34.5mm high with an iron loop extending from the top by an additional 7.4mm.
