A complete Medieval copper alloy casket key dating from the late 12th to early 14th century. It has a lozenge shaped bow with a circular central hole and a hollow oval cross sectioned shank. The bit is solid and broadly rectangular in form with an indent in the side closer to the terminal. The key measures 34.9mm in length, 13.5mm in width at the bow, 2.5mm in thickness and weighs 2.8g. A Medieval copper alloy simple small-sized casket key, dating to c. AD 1150 - 1400. The key has an oval loop which has a collar at the join between it and the shank. The shank is sub-rectangular in cross section. The bit projects from the bottom of the shank at its end and is cleft on both sides by sub-rectangular recesses giving it an I shape in form. The key is 37.4mm long, 14.4mm wide, 4.6mm thick and weighs 3.57 grams. A similar example can be found in Read (2001:72) no. 552 which he dates to the late 12th to 14th century . An incomplete copper alloy button of early modern date. The button bears the words 'RAILWAY POLICE' above and below the letter 'E & G'. This button is probably from the uniform of a member of the Edinburgh and Glasgow Railway Police, which were operational in 1847 until they were absorbed by the North British Railway in 1865. Why this button should be so far from home is unknown. The reverse of the button bears the slogan 'EXTRA SUPERFINE : BEST QUALITY'. An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman Polden HIll style brooch, dating from c. AD 80-120. The brooch retains both wings which terminate in end caps, pierced to take the spring axis bar. The pin is broken and missing. The bow is angular in form with a rectangular recess at the top of the bow which whould have contained enamelling, but this is now missing. The foot of the brooch terminates in a rounded, expanded knop and the catch plate is intact.

A copper-alloy harness pendant dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1200-1400). The pendant is shield shaped with an integral loop attached to the top edge of the shield. The front of the pendant has been decorated with red enamel, and the design depicts 'gules, three lions rampant (argent)'. A possibly silver, rat-tail Hanoverian type bowl spoon with an Old English style handle, with a turned down top c. 1710 - 1830 AD. The reverse of the spoon handle has a crest consisting of an engraved "lion statant" on a rope/cable. A cast copper alloy Post Medieval strap fitting or harness mount, c. 1600-1800 AD. The mount has a modestly raised convex surface with the corresponding convex back. Broadly rectangular with three lobbed sections. The central lobe is plain with the outer lobes having cast floral, or curvy linear mouldings. Each end then has a centrally extended knop. There are the remnants of three rectangular cross section fixing spikes. The surface has a mid to dark green patina. See SUSS-0B70C4 .

A cast copper alloy strap fitting, of probably Roman or early-medieval uncertain date, C. 43 - 1100 AD. The fitting consisting of a long plate shaped with three conjoined roughly cast ovals, the bottoms of which have an incised or cast, ring and dot markings. The upper side has a raised central longitudinal bar on four supports, forming three broadly square cut-outs. The surface is eroded with a green-brown patina.
