An incomplete late Roman strip bracelet of 3rd to 4th Century dating. Mass: 3.9g; length: 42.9mm; width: 7.4mm; depth: 6.5mm. The object consists of a tapering strip, D-shaped in section, with a curved profile. The front is decorated with transverse grooves and three ring and dots. The reverse is undecorated. The strip may be broken at the top and bottom, but the brown patina on the ends suggests that breaks are not recent.

An incomplete Late Iron Age/ Early Roman (AD 25-60/70) copper alloy Strip Bow brooch, missing part of the wings and pin, and part of the foot and catchplate. It measures 33.49mm in length and weighs 1.8g. The wings measure 11.34mm with a central notch for the pin. The bow curves forwards before dropping and expands to 12.24mm wide before narrowing again to 0.72mm wide at the break. A post-medieval copper alloy traders token dated (AD) 1652. The token was issued by John Vandewall who was a baker in Harwich, Essex. As Williamson, 1967: p. 223 no. 201. Vandewall died in 1657 leaving a wife and 3 sons. Having joined the early Quakers, the wife and her sons appear to have suffered considerable persecution. The descendants of John Vandewall were very numerous, and several attained considerable commercial eminence, and were well-known members of the Society of Friends. An incomplete medieval silver finger ring, of the style known as a Claddagh ring. Only the bezel remains, which takes the form of an openwork crowned heart held on both sides by clenched hands. Jones (1877:320) writes about these rings frequently being matrimonial rings, often passed from mother to daughter. Almost identical finger rings one can be seen on the PAS database refs. KENT-F67CF2 and SOMDOR-20FAC4. This ring probably dates from the late fifteenth or early sixteenth century.

A worn Iron Age silver unit of the Western Region Dobunni tribe dating to the period c. 60-25 BC. The coin is a variant of the 'Cotswold Eagle' type, with an obverse head similar to Cottam's (2010:104) Head Type D. The cross motif on the reverse of the coin under the horse's body is derived from a cock's head, however this example does appear a later style than is usually seen on most Cotswold Eagle issues. cf. A late Roman, open loop zoomorphic buckle with bird and beast/dragon appendages, dating to the period c. 350 - 500 AD. The buckle would have been D-shaped in plan but is now disorted and bent where the strap bar would have fitted. Around the outside of the buckle are head heads and necks of indeterminate birds or beasts. A broken and corroded, Roman copper alloy brooch, Hod Hill variant.The head is damaged, the pin and central mounting are absent. From the sub-rectangular head the bow narrows and is decorated by three horizontal ribs It then widens to a flat circular plate with a central circular perforation that has signs of an iron rivet in place and iron staining. A copper-alloy harness pendant dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1200-1400). The pendant is shield shaped with an integral loop attached to the top edge of the shield. The front of the pendant has been decorated with red enamel, and the design depicts 'gules, three lions rampant (argent)'. Description: An incomplete Early Medieval silver strap-end dating to c. AD 750-950. The strap-end is tongue-shaped with a pointed terminal. The plate tapers inwards from a 14.8 mm to 8.6 mm in width before it terminates to a point. The top of the plate is rectangular and has one central rivet hole with a diameter of 3.2 mm. An incomplete Post Medieval copper alloy dress hook eye section probably dating to c. AD 1550-1700. The dress hook is made of a flat sub-oval plate which has a slightly squared off narrow end.
