A cooper alloy Roman nummus of Valens or Valentinian dating to the period c. AD 364 - 378. Reece Period 19. The obverse has a diademed bust right and the reverse has the Emperor dragging a captive right (GLORIA ROMANORVM). The coin has lost one third of the rim and has a dark brown/green patina. Uncertain mint.

A copper alloy Roman nummus from the House of Valentinian, dating from c. AD 364-378. Reece Period 19. Probably GLORIA ROMANORVM reverse type. The obverse is heavily worn with the barest outline of a bust right. The reverse has Emperor walking right with captive with right hand and holding a staff/labarum in left. The coin has lost two small sections of the rim and has a mottled green patina.
