The lower portion, fragment, of a copper alloy Roman brooch, probably a T-shaped brooch dating from c. AD 75-175. The brooch is missing the head and wings, with most of the bow and the foot of the brooch, including the catchplate, intact. The bow has transverse grooves on the upper bow and a diamond, or lozenge, shaped cell situated on the curve of the bow with two bars across the middle, which divides the shape into three parts. An incomplete Roman copper alloy mount depicting a cherub or probably Baccus (god of wine), probably used as a decorative feature attached to the rim of a vessel. A Late Iron Age / early Roman copper alloy white-metal coated rosette brooch, mostly intact except for the pin. The brooch has a winged tubular head with spring coil mostly intact. There are transverse ridges across the junction point of the head and bow, with additional moulded decoration at the base of the bow and on the lozenge-shaped plate. The brooch bears evidence of tinning or silvering and dates to the period c. AD 20 - 60.

Probable Axe Head, an iron axe with an unusually long, oblong shaped socket with a split seam. - Axes can be hard to date, stylistically, there is a common theme from the Roman period through to the Post-Medieval. However, the long socket, with the unusual curved butt on this example, are a confusion. The blade, in axe terminology, looks too 'closed' the overall look might suggest a much later date however the split socket is characteristic of late Roman and especially early medieval iron artefacts.
