A copper alloy Medieval single looped buckle dating to the period AD 1250 to 1400. It has five transverse grooves around the front edge. The sides are semi-circular with a straight pin bar at the back. Part of the pin is still in situ and is moveable. Similar to Buckles 1250 - 1800, Ross Whitehead p27 No 135.

A copper alloy cosmetic pestle dating from the late Iron Age to early Roman period (c. 100 BC - AD 200). The pestle is the end-looped type and has a curved bar of rounded section which tapers towards both ends. At one end is a near point while the other end curves back on itself to form a suspension loop. A small spur projects from beneath the loop.

A possible cast copper alloy Roman nail cleaner, dating from c. AD 43-250. The object has a round body with a short shank decorated with transverse grooves. From the opposing edge of the rounded body extends a narrowed flat bar, possibly the beginning of the nail cleaner, however most of this is missing. An incomplete penannular brooch dating from the Iron Age to Early Medieval period, about 200 BC - AD 700, but most likely to be Early Roman (AD 70 - 200). Fowler / Booth class A9. The frame is flat and sub-rectangular in section and flares towards the terminals. Each terminal is globular with a flattened outer face and a narrowed reel moulding behind it of three collars in relief. The pin is missing. No measurements were taken so the composite photograph does not show any measurement scale, but other examples average 4-5cm internal diameter when in undamaged condition.
