A medieval silver sort cross cut farthing, of Henry III and dating to the period AD 1222-1236. The remnant of the coin has surface pitting and is very worn. The obverse portrait has the circle eyes more typical of John than Henry II. The reverse remnant of the legend is TER, perhaps for Terri at London. The coin appears to be a Class 7b issue, which would also fit for the moneyer Terri. North N979.

A silver fragment of a Saxon cut halfpenny, one edge of which has been cut, the other edge has been fractured. The coin may be of Aethelred II (AD 978-1016), a variety of the last small cross type (AD 1009-1017) with a pellet on the reverse (see North 1994:160). North Type 778 notes that the bust reaches the edge of the coin, as it does on this example, while Type 780/1 (also London mint) notes that pellets can be found on the reverse of these coins (ibid.).
