An incomplete Late Iron Age/ Early Roman (AD 25-60/70) copper alloy Strip Bow brooch, missing part of the wings and pin, and part of the foot and catchplate. It measures 33.49mm in length and weighs 1.8g. The wings measure 11.34mm with a central notch for the pin. The bow curves forwards before dropping and expands to 12.24mm wide before narrowing again to 0.72mm wide at the break. The bow is 0.77mm thick and decorated with a line of rocker-arm flanking each edge, and another down the middle. Only the top of the catchplate survives. The metal is dark green, shiny and smooth. T…
