A flint blade of probable Late Mesolithic to Early Neolithic date. The tool has been manufactured from a long, narrow, parallel-sided flake. The dorsal surface has a central arise separating what are probably two earlier blade removal scars. At the proximal end of the dorsal surface is a pronounced lip, probably indicating the use of the soft hammer production method; at the distal end is a hinge fracture.
