A late Iron Age to Roman complete copper alloy toggle, c. 100 BC to AD 100. The toggle is of the dumbbell type comprising two globular hemispherical terminals joined by a waisted central circular shaft. Integral raised collars are present where the shaft and terminals meet. The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The toggle is 22mm long, 11.5mm in diameter and weighs 10 grams. Numerous similar examples have been recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database, see: YORYM-1A6833, SWYOR-72CC15A, SWYOR-71E73D and NCL-DD6E92.

A Medieval incomplete copper alloy teardrop crotal bell dating from the 13th to 14th Century. The bell is made from a single sheet of copper alloy that has been rolled to form a conical shape with an integral flat circular knop, incorporating the suspension loop, at its apex. The bottom is damaged but would have been formed of four lobed-shaped terminals folded in on each other at the base to make a sounding hole. Crotal bells are recognised as horse harness decorations. A Medieval copper alloy strap mount of c.AD 1250-1350 date. The mount is rectangular in plan and cross section. There are two circular rivet holes, both of which retain a cylindrical rivet. The mount is 19.4mm long, 5.5mm wide, 3.5mm thick and weighs 2.41 grams. Similar mounts are illustrated in Egan & Pritchard, 1991, Dress Accessories c1150 - c1450, page 211, numbers 1132 1138.

A post Medieval copper alloy strap end of c. AD 1350-1400 date. It is rectangular in plan narrowing to a point at one end. The strap end is made of two sheets which are held together by a single rivet at the center of the rectangualr attachment. The strap end is 25.4mm long, 6.5mm wide, 1.3mm thick and weighs 1.02 grams. Similar strap ends are illustrated in Egan & Pritchard, 1991, Dress Accessories c1150 - c1450, page 133, number 610.

A complete copper-alloy strap end of Medieval date (AD 1350-1450). The strap end is a composite type with a probable sheet spacer. The strap end is sub-rectanglur in pland andtrapezoidal shaped in profile a retained rivets centrally place at the upper end of the strap end and terminates in a rounded knop. Egan and Pritchard, Pg 147, No 696. the strap end is 19.1mm long, 10.2mm wide, 1.8mm thick and weighs 1.51 grams.

A complete copper alloy Early Medieval rectangular buckle, dated to the 9th to 11th centuries AD. The buckle consists of a rectangular single frame with thickened laterally protruding knops at each corner. The knops are zoomorphic in form, each with incised parallel lines along their length and two drilled dots with a groove between them towards the inside edge, resembling an animal head. An incomplete cast copper-alloy open work harness mount (bridle boss) of the post-medieval period, c AD.1600-1700. It is discoidal with a convex front and concave reverse. It has a small moulded boss at the centre, which is encircled by an inner ring of heart-shaped openwork and an outer ring of pentagonal openwork. An incomplete Post Medieval copper alloy cosmetic set. The set comproses a pair of complete composite tweezers in the form of two long thin trapezoidal plates secured with a small copper alloy rivet at the narrow end. Also secured by the rivet is a tooth pick made from a bifurcated plate. The remains of one other cosmetic item is still attached at one side by the rivet but this has been broken away by an old break. A very similar example can be seen in Egan(1991) page 378 ref 1756. This example is dated to c. AD 1350-1400. Length: 70 .0mm, width: 6.0mm, Thickness: 1.0mm

The object is hollow and is trefoil or fleur-de-lis shaped in plan with a pointed oval shaped cross section. It has a collar at the base with a sub-circular aperture for the tang travelling thought the length of the object. Both surfaces of the object are decorated with moulded indentations which emphasise the trefoil shape. The object is 37mm long and 36mm wide. The base of the object has a diameter of 17 mm.
