Cast copper-alloy bar-mount. Medieval. Mass: 1.6g; length: 22.1mm; width: 9.6mm; depth: 4.5mm (excluding rivet). Bar with two terminal lobes and one larger central lobe. The two terminal lobes are pierced for rivets. There are the remains of one copper-alloy rivet in one lobe. The front of the central lobe is convex, and decorated with incised cross-hatching. The reverse of the central boss is concave. The mount has a green patina with brown adhesions, particularly on the reverse.

An almost complete enamelled and gilded copper-alloy medieval heraldic mount. Length: 65.5mm; width: 55.2mm; mass: 32.1g. Thickness: 1.6mm-2.7mm. The mount is shield shaped in plan, with a slightly convex top and convex sides which converge to the base. Each corner has a small concave notch, probably the remains of attachments for the mount.
