There is semi abrupt retouch on the right side to form a knife or cutting edge. Abrupt retouch on the left side forms a concave scraping edge which may have been used to scrape sticks to make shafts. The flint is a mottled light grey.

It is probably most similar to oblique arrowheads in Butler's Prehistoric Flintwork, but the base is convex rather than concave. The point of the arrowhead is formed at the proximal end. A Neolithic flint tool; a retouched blade which has been utilised for cutting. The flint is sub rectangular with abundant retouch on both sides and the distal end. The retouch is semi-abrupt. The blade has a double dorsal ridge which gives it extra strength. The distal end may have been used as a scraper, the edges were used for cutting, but the object is not a knife as there is no retouch on the ventral face. A flint lithic tool; a thumb nail scraper dating from the early Bronze Age (2150 - 1500 BC). The flint is good quality, dark grey, almost black and opaque. The tool is oval and unusually thick, almost triangular in section. It is invasively worked with abrupt retouch round the entire circumference. A similar example is figure 70.9 on page 166 of Prehistoric Flintwork by Butler.
