A cast copper alloy plate probably from a mount or buckle plate. The plate is lozenge shaped, but appears to have broken off of a much larger piece. There are no visible signs of attachment. The front surface is decorated with incised decoration. There is a crude incised line forming a border around the edge of the plate and there are three rows of rocker-arm zig-zags, in paralllel rows along the longest axis of the plate. The metal is a mid brownish-green colour. The reverse is coated in some corroded material.

An incomplete cast copper alloy buckle of medieval date. The buckle is a single looped D-shape with a narrowed and offset strap bar. The buckle has a wide outer edge and is decorated with a moulded wavy design. The underside of the outer edge is concave. The pin is missing. The metal is a dark greenish-brown colour and is worn. A similar example can be seen in Whitehead, p.19 and is dated to circa 1250-1500.
