A fragment of a Post Medieval copper alloy purse bar, dating AD1500-1600. The object has a straight bar with a circular section. There is a bulbous knop at one end. The knop is decorated in a spiral fluting design, with five lobes. The metal is a dark brown colout with patches of mid-light green pattina. Several similar examples have been recorded on the PAS database, cf. YORYM-1D1CC4. They are all believed to date to the 16th century. Dimensions: length: 46.31 mm; diamter of knop: 13.16 mm; weight: 10.38g.

An incomplete, bent copper-alloy stylus. The stem of the stylus is circular in cross section and tapers towards a spatulate terminal. It is bent at a right angle before the terminal. The terminal is flattened and expanded from the stem. It then tapers before flaring out again to a straight edge (forming a bow shape). At the opposite, wider end of the stem there is a sharp constriction to the projecting stub of a fine needle (the end used for making marks).
