A corroded, plain copper-alloy rivet-like object which might have been used to hold repairs to a vessel in place. It is sub-oval in plan with a possibly break giving a broadly straight edge to one side. On the lower surface there is an integral protruding prong towards this edge whose terminal protrudes to one side and is flattened at the base. Rolled sheet rivets replaced the earlier folded sheet rivets in pot repairs from the late 15th - 16th centuries (Egan 2005, 101) suggesting a possible late medieval to post-medieval date for this piece. A cast copper-alloy foot from a cooking vessel of later medieval to post-medieval date. The foot is sub-trapezoidal in plan with a rounded complete end. The other end has a ragged break, possibly as result of mis-casting, which extends beyond the break. A prominent median rib, semi-circular in cross-section, runs down the length of the leg. The plain object is a dusty light-green colour overlying a red-brown metal, with large areas of off-white corrosion product.

A cast lead pot mend, used to mend a broken vessel in order to lengthen the period of use after damage had occurred. It is sub-circular and slightly curved in profile, with the section above the slot slightly misaligned to that below. The vessel is also curved and c. 3.5mm thick. Its dark orange-brown colour suggests that this is a corroded iron cooking vessel, of early post-medieval date.

Cast lead vessel repair (pot mend). Oval with two irregularly shaped outer sides joined by a smaller central section. In the groove created between the outer sides there are traces of the original pot. The pottery appears to be of sandy dark orange fabric. It is 36.8 mm by 32.6mm, 10.2 mm thick and weighs 48.07 g. Pot mends of this form are found in both Roman and Medieval periods, as a common way to repair broken pottery. The remains of the original pot seem to be Roman in date although it is too fragmentary to be completely certain.

Copper alloy vessel repair formed of two broadly rectangular pieces of copper alloy sheet with irregular, broken edges. They are held together by three folded copper alloy sheet rivets, probably of the 'folded lozenge style which was popular in the Medieval period. The fragment measures 59.3mm in length, 18.7mm in width and is 4.9mm at its thickest point. It weighs 12.42 grams.

A rim sherd from a later Iron Age coarseware jar dating from approximately 300 BC - AD 100. The jar has a slightly outward turned rim with a flat top and rounded outer edge. Below the short rim the body curved outwards at c.45 degrees. Not enough of the rim remains to estimate the diameter as it is slightly irregular but it indicates a large vessel. The relatively hard fired fabric is only slightly scratched by a finger nail and has a mid-brown core and a dark-brown to black surface with burnishing on the outer side and rim. A rim sherd probably from a medieval cooking pot (c.1100 - c. 1400 AD). It has a pale grey-brown silty fabric with c. 15 - c. 20% medium quartz temper; the inclusions have leached out slightly on the surfaces. The piece has a rolled over rim projecting at ninety degrees on the outer face (Th.: 12.45mm); below the edge it has a slightly concave inner side and convex outer. It is too small and irregular to identify the original diameter.

Two sherds of Roman greyware, a base sherd and a rim sherd. Both sherds have a medium grey-brown fabric with abundant, c. 30% fine sand temper. The base fragment has only a small part of the base on it but shows the convex wall rises from the flat base at about sixty degrees. The rim fragment has an everted rim, possibly from a jar, with a slightly widened and flattened top ending in a slightly rounded outer edge. It is too short and irregular to estimate the original diameter (L.: 57.1mm). They weigh 28.08 grams together.

A fragment of a post-Medieval skillet handle (1679-1717 AD). The fragment is sub-rectangular in plan, flat on the upper face and convex on the underside ('D'-shaped in cross-section). On the upper face there are incised letters: S E with an incised linear groove above and below the letters. This handle has a dark green patina with patches of corrosion. Post Medieval fragment of a copper alloy cast leg from a cooking vessel. The fragment is 'D'-shaped in section with a notched curved outer edge created by five ribs that run down the front. It measures 57.3mm in length, 46.6mm in width, 23.6mm in thickness and weighs 86.82g. Butler, Green and Booth (2003; 4) suggests that legs such as these were widespread by the 17th century.

A cast copper alloy leg from a Medieval to Post Medieval vessel. The leg appears trapezoid shaped in cross section with a flat front and rounded back. The leg terminates in an outward facing foot. The front of the leg has a raised central rib running down the lengh. It measures 86.1mm in length, 52.9mm in width and 25.0mm in thickness. Butler, Green and Payne (2009, pg 4) do not record an example identical to this but it is perhaps most similar to their Type 'a' which was widespread in the Medieval period with examples known into the early 17th century.

A large copper-alloy fragment of broadly rectangular form: possibly a broken handle from a medieval/post-medieval posnet or skillet. At one broken end of this bar the fragment has a rectangular cross-section, twisted as a result of old damage. This end is thinned (9.7mm) compared to the other end (14.8mm) which has a more oval cross-section, though with flat 'upper surface'. Rim fragment from a copper alloy vessel, probably of a type used for cooking. The fragment is 39.7mm long, 43.7mm wide, 3.6mm thick in the body and weighs 34.3 grams. The rim flares outwards at an angle of 120 degrees to the body and has an uneven edge. The rim is 10.4mm wide at the widest 4.2mm thick. The curve of the rim suggests the original vessel had a diameter of 24cm. There are traces of sooting on the outside, suggesting a cauldron or other cooking vessel.

A cast copper alloy pot leg and foot fragment. 45.1mm long, 30.7mm wide, 21.4mm thick and weighs 101 grams. The fragment is heavily worn but appears to be angled at about 60 degrees. The back is plain. The front has two vertical grooves creating a slightly tri-bobed appearence; just below the top is a raised horizontal band with a semi-circular profile. The top is smooth with slight grooves rather than broken and has a central raised, rough section that may have held a rivet. There appears to be traces of sooting on the foot, this, and its size, suggests it may come from a cooking vessel.

A base fragment of a greyware ceramic vessel dating to the Roman period (c. AD 43 - 410). The base is almost flat, with wear marks and more recent scratches on the underside. There is very little of the vessel's body that remains adhered to the base, but there is enough to suggest an open profile vessel form, too little survives to estimate the diameter.
