Iron ring for attachment to a wooden patten or sole. The ring is oval with raised terminals for attachment to each side. Both terminal have rectangular strips rising at right angles to the ring and then are bent out at right angles where they expand into attachment plates. One plate is D shaped with two iron rivets through it. The other is oval with one rivet through it and a strip extending from the opposite side of the plate to the ring which ends in an irregular end, probably an old break. A damaged spherical cast copper-alloy post-medieval animal 'crotal' (bell). This complete example has a sub-square suspension loop between two circular sound holes located on the upper hemisphere. The sound holes are recessed on the outer surface and measure c. 5/6mm in diameter. The upper hemisphere is plain. The suspension loop has a angled top and the curve of the bell continues through the opening suggesting it was made using the detachable sprue-piece casting method developed in the 17th century. Post medieval cast copper alloy double loop buckle frame. The frame has two oval loops with slightly widened outer edges. The front and back are bevelled and the front is decorated with a raised rim around the inner side of the loops and raised foliate patterns (the pattern is discribed by Whitehead (see below) as vine scroll). There are traces of a black lacquer around the patten. The strap bar is narrowed and recessed. It is very bent and now 45.9mm long, 31.3mm wide, 2.8mm thick and weighs 6.34 grams. Post Medieval - Modern cast lead two disc cloth seal. The disks sit one on top of the other and are joined by a tab. One had a hole in the centre and the other a projecting point which has been pushed through the hole and then stamped flat to fix them together. The tab is mostly missing from old breaks. The stamp has the initials R.W. The discs are bent and at most 27.4mm in diameter, 3.7mm thick and it weighs 14.22 grams. The simplcity of the design of initials rather than a privy mark suggests a later date, 17th-18th century (cf Egan p.84, no.234, 236 and p.86, no.242)

Post Medieval cast copper alloy sword belt fitting. It is roughly foliate in form, with incised decoration forming a leaf pattern. It has a trefoil shaped terminal at one end below which it narrows before widening to rounded shoulders about a third of the way down from which it tapers to the other end where there are two lugs flanking a forward projecting hook. A lead token of Post-Medieval date. Weight 57.01g (0.1257pounds or 2.0110 ounces), diameter 33.21mm, thickness 7.61mm. The upper surface of the artefact is decorated with a raised symbol, possibly two letters joined together which could be CH or more likely HD. It seems that the symbol was a HD, where the vertical of the 'D' was also the right-hand vertical of the 'H' however it must be noted that the lower part of the letters, if this is what they are, have been worn or scraped away leaving just a faint mark visible today. A damaged and incomplete cast copper-alloy post-medieval spoon consisting of most of the bowl and part of the handle (c. 17th century AD). Little of the handle now survives; the old break reveals a square cross-section. There is a concave depression on the lower surface at the junction of handle and bowl. The bowl was fig shaped but has suffered losses to one side and along the tip. It has a flattened rim all around. Post Medieval copper alloy double looped buckle. The frame is broadly rectangular in plan with the outer edges widening in width to pointed projections, forming triangular ends. The strap bar has a lobed knop at either end. Remains of iron corrosion on the strap suggests the pin, now missing, could have been made of iron. It measures 47.3mm in length, 23.7mm in width, 2.1mm in thickness and weighs 3.7g. Whitehead (2003; 82) illustrates a similar example with a wider frame, no. 512, which is dated 1250-1700 AD.
