A damaged fragment from a cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame of post-medieval date (17th century AD). The fragment consists of the pin bar with small parts of the flat sides emerging at one end. The pin bar has a double lobed knop extant at one end. It has a square cross-section and has been bent twice from opposing sides as a result of old damage. Orange/brown corrosion product at its centre suggests that the missing pin was made of iron. Post Medieval copper alloy double-loop oval buckle with a complete pin. In the centre of the outer edge of each loop is a pair of protruding moulded knops with a indent and incised line between them where the pin rests. The frame is thin and C-shaped in section with a concave back. The strap bar is narrowed and slightly protrudes from the frame with a lobed knop on each end. Post Medieval copper alloy double loop buckle frame. It has two oval loops which are triangular in section with a flat back and inner side and convex curved outer side. The outer edges of the loops are widened. The strap bar is narrowed with lobed knops at either end. The pin is missing. One loop is bent upwards and the loop and strap bar are distorted. The frame is 36.8mm long, 24mm wide and 3.4mm thick. It weighs 6.58 grams. A similar example with a recessed strap bar is illustrated in Whitehead (2003:54, Nos. 307) which he suggests dates to c.1500-1650 AD.

Post Medieval copper-alloy double-loop buckle frame. The loops are D shaped in plan and trapezoidal in section with angled sides and wider back. From the centre of the outer edges of each loop projects a tri-lobed extension. The extension is stamped with an annulet in the centre with eight grooves projecting away from it, two grooves in each direction. Post medieval cast copper alloy toy cannon. The muzzle (open end) of the cannon is missing to an old break. It is cast in one piece with a pronounced base ring and a plain tapering breech. The cascabel is also missing to an old break. The small vent hole, blocked with mud, is half way between the base ring and first reinforce ring. An incomplete probably Post-Medieval (1500-1700) openwork probable strap distributor with domed centre boss. It is missing just less than half. Measures 29.28x29.04x8.13mm and weighs 6.7g. The plate around the centre boss (c.12mm diameter) is more or less circular in shape with an oval perforation in each quarter (although only two of these remain intact). A fragment of a Post-Medieval lead cloth seal, probably dating from the 17th century. The fragment consists of approximately 25-30 per cent of two discs pressed together. It has worn breaks almost all the way around it's edge. About 10 per cent of the edge is not broken and is part of the original edge of the seal. A copper alloy silver plated contemporary copy of a halfcrown of Charles I (AD 1625-1649) dating to AD 1634 to 1649. The coin has a thin sheet of silver over the top onto which the dies were stamped. One face of the silver has been almost worn smooth while the other bears the trace of an round, garnished, royal shield. Due to the condition of the coin a closer date cannot be determined.
