Cast copper alloy side plate from the hilt of a knife. The plate is sub-rectangular in shape. There is a break at one end, but the rest of the plate remains intact and in fairly good condition. The reverse has a raised ridge running along the outside edge, creating a central slot to hoild the tang of the knife, but is otherwise undecorated. The upper face has a central recessed panel with raised letters within it. A post-medieval cast copper alloy crotal bell complete with iron suspension ring and hook. The bell is divided into two hemispheres by a prominent ridge which runs around the centre of the bell. The upper hemisphere is undecorated with two large sound holes. A semi-circular loop extends up from the top of the upper hemisphere.The curve of the bell continues under the loop aperture suggesting it was made using a detachable 'sprue-piece', this method was introduced in the 17th century. Post Medieval copper alloy bridle boss, with a mass of iron corrosion on the back. The fitting is broadly circular in plan with a raised openwork central dome and a flat outer border. The handle of a copper alloy (latten) Post Medieval spoon dating to the period c.AD 1550-1650. The handle ends in a seal top knop. The knop starts with a flat circular disk which tapers down to two simple balls with a moulded collar beneath. The surface of the disc is worn and has no evidence of pecked initials remaining. The knop is integral with the oval cross sectioned handle. The handle is bent and terminates in a worn break at the point where it would have attached to the bowl, now missing. Post medieval copper alloy double loop buckle dating to the period c AD 1500 - 1650. The buckle consists of two oval loops separated by a pin/strap bar with lobed knops at each end of the bar. The pin is missing. The buckle has a green patina. The buckle measures 26.33mm in length, 21.35mm in width and weighs 2.43g. A similar example can be found in Whitehead (2003: 54) no. 305, who dates it to c.AD 1500 - 1650.

The shaft is is circular in cross-section at the apex and sub-triangular in cross-section where it joins the head. A damaged spherical cast copper-alloy post-medieval animal 'crotal' (bell). This complete example has a sub-square suspension loop between two circular sound holes located on the upper hemisphere. The sound holes are recessed on the outer surface and measure c. 5/6mm in diameter. The upper hemisphere is plain. The bezel takes the form of an elongated hexagon with a flat upper surface (L.: 16.3mm, W.: 9.1mm).
