A cast copper-alloy spout possibly from a tap or a ewer of later medieval or post-medieval date. The hollow spout is tubular, curving gradually, with a transverse ridge on the upper surface, running across half of the spout. One face of the ridge has a rough edge and probably the ridge indicated where it was joined to the vessel. The copper alloy now has a light green patina interspersed with black. One end of a larger flat copper alloy piece, probably a handle, that is flat on both surfaces and rectangular in cross section. In plan the plate is irregularly shaped but can be divided into two sections. The first section is placed at the item's break. This is rectangular in plan measuring 20.2mm wide and 13.8mm long and is decorated on its upper surface with the indented outline of an oval with a maximum diameter of 11.8mm flanked by lobe ended, outward curling lines. Post-medieval copper alloy pot leg and foot dating to c. AD 1500 to 1700. The leg is D-shaped in cross section with a flat back and a convex front. Any trace of ribs on the outer face is now unclear. The leg terminates in a very worn foot, almost oval now in cross section and rounded at the slightly widened base, separated from the leg by a raised transverse collar. The piece is 42.04mm tall, 29.72mm wide at the foot, 17.8mm thick and weighs 71.6g. Cast copper alloy vessels were widely used from AD1200 to 1700 for serving and cooking. A Post-Medieval copper alloy handle from a cooking vessel such as a posnet or skillet. The handle is a shallow 'D' shape in cross section, with a flat upper surface and a convex, rounded reverse. There are rough breaks on both ends, one ot a c30 degree angle, the other transverse. The upper surface has three parallel but not equidistant (two on one side being closer together), longitudinal grooves but is otherwise undecorated.. An incomplete curved copper alloy handle for a vessel, probably dating to the post-medieval period, however it has not yet been directly paralleled and an earlier date cannot be ruled out. The handle is triangular in cross section with a slghtly convex curved inner face and ridge running down the centre of the upper face. It narrows from the break at one end to the break at the other. A Post Medieval copper alloy zoomorphic handle of uncertain date and from an unidentified vessel. The handle is in the form of a birds leg ending in a three toes foot, measuring 21.6mm in length, with the middle toe larger and curved backwards in a claw ending in a point. Behind this is a V-shaped raised section measuring 19.1mm in width identified as the other toes. A Post Medieval cast copper alloy pot foot with a small remnant of the pot attached, dating to c. AD 1500-1700. The foot is triangular in cross-section, tapering downwards. There are three longitudinal, convex raised ribs running down the front, the central rib protruding further than the others (thus forming the triangular cross-section), and extending further up as it joins the remnant of the pot body. Body sherd from a small cup, bowl or jar with almost vertical sides. The fabric is mid orange with some fine quartz temper. The exterior is decorated with white slip interrupted by four turned parallel lines at the top and indented ovals with dignal scratches across them below. A yellow glaze over all appears brown on the inside and areas where the slip has been removed. This form of decoration is typical of South Somerset ware of the late 17th to 19th centurys altough the scratched ovals are slightly unusual.

Post Medieval fragment of a copper alloy cast leg from a cooking vessel. The fragment is 'D'-shaped in section with a notched curved outer edge created by five ribs that run down the front. It measures 57.3mm in length, 46.6mm in width, 23.6mm in thickness and weighs 86.82g. Butler, Green and Booth (2003; 4) suggests that legs such as these were widespread by the 17th century.
