Post Medieval cast copper alloy sword belt fitting. The fitting consists of a plate with a curved hook at one end with spherical finial. The plate is decorated with an incised curvilinear floriate design. The plate has two circular rivets at the top and bottom.
Fittings of this type are dated c.1550-1650.

Medieval to post Medieval cast copper alloy probable swivel. The item consists of a central barrel like part with incised decoration with a cast circular hoop for attachment at each end. Although seemingly formed of two halves with a seam running around the middle of the barrel part there is presently no movement.
The exact use of the item is uncertain and it is therefore classified broadly as a strap fitting.
The fitting has been dated c.1400-1700.

Incomplete cast copper alloy hooked fitting of probable post Medieval date (c.1600-1700). The fitting has a flat oval body with a tapered hook folded under at one end and a broken attachment loop at the other end. The oval plate has ferrous corrosion in the centre of the upper surface and along the base of the underside which probably is probably the remains of an iron rivet. There is no discernible surface decoration. The hook possibly formed part of a sword belt and rough parallels can be found in 'Hooked Clasps & Eyes' by Brian Read, p.222.

An incomplete medieval lead personal seal matrix (AD c. 1200 - c. 1400). The seal matrix is flat and vesica (pointed-oval) shaped. The reverse has a misshapen and incomplete loop at one end and the rest is decorated with a raised design, possibly representing a fleur-de-lis. The die design consists of a central fleur-de-lis motif with an oval plain grooved border. The inscription around the edge possibly reads S' A[LI]CIE VX' hEn' (Seal of Alice wife of Henry). The matrix is damaged on one side.

Complete later Medieval cast copper alloy three dimensional zoomorphic mount or stud. The stud is in the form of an open-mouthed animal face with cross-hatching detail to the head, possibly intended to be a hat. The face has upturned ears protruding to either side of the 'hat' and two circular hollow recesses for the eyes which may have held glass or stones. Medieval Horse Harness Pendant: Complete but worn cast copper alloy and enamel shield-shaped horse harness pendant. The front of the shield carries the design of a backward looking white wyvern (2 legged, winged dragon with a long tail) set against a blue or green background with a single 6 lobed white mullet in the upper right hand corner. The integrally cast suspension loop is set at a right angle to the shield at the midpoint of the upper edge.
Harness pendants of this type are dated c.1200-1400.

Post Medieval Coin Weight: Complete cast copper alloy coin weight. The weight is a square flat disc decorated on both sides. One side carries the design of a crowned rose with the letters EC to either side. the other side probably shows a scallop shell with the letters GG above. This coin weight was continentally produced for the English market. GG is the mark of Gerrit Greers of Amsterdam. The weight weights1ozt.
This coin weight is dated to c.1600-1630.

A fragment of a copper alloy possible medieval to post-medieval candlestick consisting of a foot and part of the round base. The fragment is heavily worn and slightly bent out of shape. The fragment consists of a complete, broadly tongue-shaped foot, part of the curving rim of the base and a fraction of the central area of the base. Fragment of a cast copper alloy probable Post Medieval clapper bell or open bell. All that remains is the sub oval suspension loop or handle, with circular opening and below this a fragment of the domed top of the bell. The metal appears to have a high tin and or lead content and is silvery in appearance with very rough edges along the breaks.
