A corroded fragment from a cast copper-alloy hooked mount of post-medieval date. The fragment consists of the lower part of the mount, including the hook and the lower part below a rivet hole. Within this lower rivet hole corroded remains of an iron rivet. The sides of the mount are scalloped with rounded protrusions to the sides. The inward-turning hook has been bent slightly to one side as a result of old damage. The metal has corroded to a red-brown colour with larges areas of light-green and off-white corrosion product.

Part of the bowl from a lead-tin (pewter) spoon dating from c.1670 to the early 1700s. The bowl is oval in shape and is in a Queen Anne style with a feathered-like flower spray flanking the rat tail on the back. Only around three quarters of the bowl remains with a diagonal breakage across the width of the bowl, the stem is completely missing. It is now 68.1mm long, 49.6mm wide and weighs 28.69. Homer (1975, 44) illustrates base metal spoons with similar designs, which echo those on silver spoons of the same period, the late 17th and early 18th century.

The bowl of a post-medieval clay tobacco pipe broken at its junction with the stem. The bowl is swollen, convex curved between the mouth and heel on both sides and projects out over the heel. The mouth is parallel to the stem. The sub-oval flat heel projects only a little from the base of the bowl and is wider and longer than the base, starting level with the stem. Most of the bowl is missing but the heel is stamped with the makers mark: WILL/ PITCH/ER in three lines within a pellet circle. The stem is broken at an old break. The pipe measures 51.3mm in length, 14.7 in width and weighs 6.37g. William Pitcher is listed as a maker from Beaminster in Dorset active c.1700 (Oswald 1975 p167). A complete Post Medieval silver gilt dress pin with hollow-cast spherical head, c. 16th century AD. The pin has been drawn from a thick silver wire 2.40 mm in diameter and the shaft measures approximately 72 mm long (including the section through the head) with a 90-degree bend about one third of the length up from the point. A Post Medieval cast copper alloy lozenge shaped mount. The mount is flat on the surface with bevelled edges. On the reverse there are two integral rivets. One of them has broken and is now 3.6 mm long, the other is bent over at 90 degrees and approximately 11.6 mm long at is full length. A piece of dried leather is still fastened on the underside of the mount. The metal surface of the object is a red copper colour with a bright green patina in places. The mount is 32.5 mm, 25.6 mm at its widest point, and wieghs 6.82 grams. It probably dates to 1500 - 1700 AD.
