A circular cast lead alloy weight of uncertain date with a trapezoidal cross section. A 'D' is stamped on one face and there is an incised line on the other. It is 23.8mm in diametre, 6.6mm in thicknes and weighs 27.82g. 0.98 ounces. Plain weights were cast locally in lead from the Roman period onwards for a wide variety of uses and are hard to date precisely. This example is about an ounce in the avoirdupois system in use since the Medieval period suggesting a late Medieval - Post Medieval date.

Post Medieval copper alloy trade weight from a stacking set of the reign of Elizabeth I (1558-1603). The weight is circular and flat on both faces with straight sides. The top has a circular indent at the centre and is stamped with a crowned EL at 5 o'clock. It is 15.4mm in diameter and 2.0mm thick; it weighs 2.62 grams ( 0.09 oz probably originally 1/8oz). A flat circular lead weight of uncertain date, possibly Post Medieval. There is evidence of a fold across the centre and a tear in the edge at one end of the fold. There is a small square hole through the weight, slightly off ceentre. There appears to be a scratched design on both sides of the weight but this is obscured by the large number of indents, probably from damage, on both faces. The scratched designs maybe of a square on one face and lines radiating out from the hole on the other. It is now 30.8mm by 28.3mm, 3.3mm thick and it weighs 15.80grams.

A corroded, plain copper-alloy rivet-like object which might have been used to hold repairs to a vessel in place. It is sub-oval in plan with a possibly break giving a broadly straight edge to one side. On the lower surface there is an integral protruding prong towards this edge whose terminal protrudes to one side and is flattened at the base. Rolled sheet rivets replaced the earlier folded sheet rivets in pot repairs from the late 15th - 16th centuries (Egan 2005, 101) suggesting a possible late medieval to post-medieval date for this piece. A cast lead pot mend, used to mend a broken vessel in order to lengthen the period of use after damage had occurred. It is sub-circular and slightly curved in profile, with the section above the slot slightly misaligned to that below. The vessel is also curved and c. 3.5mm thick. Its dark orange-brown colour suggests that this is a corroded iron cooking vessel, of early post-medieval date.

A fragment of a post-Medieval skillet handle (1679-1717 AD). The fragment is sub-rectangular in plan, flat on the upper face and convex on the underside ('D'-shaped in cross-section). On the upper face there are incised letters: S E with an incised linear groove above and below the letters. This handle has a dark green patina with patches of corrosion. Post Medieval fragment of a copper alloy cast leg from a cooking vessel. The fragment is 'D'-shaped in section with a notched curved outer edge created by five ribs that run down the front. It measures 57.3mm in length, 46.6mm in width, 23.6mm in thickness and weighs 86.82g. Butler, Green and Booth (2003; 4) suggests that legs such as these were widespread by the 17th century.

Body sherd from a small cup, bowl or jar with almost vertical sides. The fabric is mid orange with some fine quartz temper. The exterior is decorated with white slip interrupted by four turned parallel lines at the top and indented ovals with dignal scratches across them below. A yellow glaze over all appears brown on the inside and areas where the slip has been removed. This form of decoration is typical of South Somerset ware of the late 17th to 19th centurys altough the scratched ovals are slightly unusual.
