An incomplete Roman copper-alloy hinged initial T-shaped brooch, probably dating to c. AD 50-150. The lower half of the bow has been lost, along with the catch-plate, and a portion of the pin. At the head of the brooch the wings survive largely complete to a width of 26.7mm. The wings are cylindrical, c. 3.5mm in diameter and taper very slightly towards the ends.
