Cast lead vessel repair (pot mend). Oval with two irregularly shaped outer sides joined by a smaller central section. In the groove created between the outer sides there are traces of the original pot. The pottery appears to be of sandy dark orange fabric. It is 36.8 mm by 32.6mm, 10.2 mm thick and weighs 48.07 g. Pot mends of this form are found in both Roman and Medieval periods, as a common way to repair broken pottery. The remains of the original pot seem to be Roman in date although it is too fragmentary to be completely certain.

Copper alloy vessel repair formed of two broadly rectangular pieces of copper alloy sheet with irregular, broken edges. They are held together by three folded copper alloy sheet rivets, probably of the 'folded lozenge style which was popular in the Medieval period. The fragment measures 59.3mm in length, 18.7mm in width and is 4.9mm at its thickest point. It weighs 12.42 grams.

Rim fragment from a copper alloy vessel, probably of a type used for cooking. The fragment is 39.7mm long, 43.7mm wide, 3.6mm thick in the body and weighs 34.3 grams. The rim flares outwards at an angle of 120 degrees to the body and has an uneven edge. The rim is 10.4mm wide at the widest 4.2mm thick. The curve of the rim suggests the original vessel had a diameter of 24cm. There are traces of sooting on the outside, suggesting a cauldron or other cooking vessel.

A cast copper alloy pot leg and foot fragment. 45.1mm long, 30.7mm wide, 21.4mm thick and weighs 101 grams. The fragment is heavily worn but appears to be angled at about 60 degrees. The back is plain. The front has two vertical grooves creating a slightly tri-bobed appearence; just below the top is a raised horizontal band with a semi-circular profile. The top is smooth with slight grooves rather than broken and has a central raised, rough section that may have held a rivet. There appears to be traces of sooting on the foot, this, and its size, suggests it may come from a cooking vessel.

Post Medieval fragment of a copper alloy cast leg from a cooking vessel. The fragment is 'D'-shaped in section with a notched curved outer edge created by five ribs that run down the front. It measures 57.3mm in length, 46.6mm in width, 23.6mm in thickness and weighs 86.82g. Butler, Green and Booth (2003; 4) suggests that legs such as these were widespread by the 17th century.

A cast copper alloy leg from a Medieval to Post Medieval vessel. The leg appears trapezoid shaped in cross section with a flat front and rounded back. The leg terminates in an outward facing foot. The front of the leg has a raised central rib running down the lengh. It measures 86.1mm in length, 52.9mm in width and 25.0mm in thickness. Butler, Green and Payne (2009, pg 4) do not record an example identical to this but it is perhaps most similar to their Type 'a' which was widespread in the Medieval period with examples known into the early 17th century.

Part of a lead alloy object, possibly the base and attachment for a handle on a large lead-tin (pewter) jug, possibly of Roman date. The piece has a sub-rectangular shape for 65 mm in length and gradually widen from 13.5 mm on the base to 20.5 mm near the top. Body sherd from a small cup, bowl or jar with almost vertical sides. The fabric is mid orange with some fine quartz temper. The exterior is decorated with white slip interrupted by four turned parallel lines at the top and indented ovals with dignal scratches across them below. A yellow glaze over all appears brown on the inside and areas where the slip has been removed. This form of decoration is typical of South Somerset ware of the late 17th to 19th centurys altough the scratched ovals are slightly unusual.

The outer surface is roughly cast and covered with soot, the inner surface is smooth. The curve of the fragment suggests the vessel was 200-240mm in diameter but from such a small fragment it is hard to be certain. The fragment is 38mm long and 24.3mm wide, and its thickness varies from 1.6 mm to 3.5mm near the rim. It weighs 9.68 grams.
